Active Learning Strategies

Most college and secondary school instructors know that learning must be active, but they are stymied by the barriers: coverage, class size, student resistance, and so forth. Participants will experience and apply active, brain-friendly learning strategies that instructors can use to conduct full class learning and small group learning, stimulate discussion and debate, practice skills, prompt questions, and get students to teach each other.
